Music Fund donates music instruments to Nablus the Culture

Nablus The Culture recently received a shipment of musical instruments as a gift from the Music Fund (www.musicfund.be) . The shipment included a baby grand piano donated by George-Elie Octors, musical director of Ictus (www.ictus.be). This comes as part of the Music Fund efforts to support young musicians and music schools in developing countries and conflict regions. Leading the visiting delegation was Lukas Pairon , president of the fund and director of Ictus musical ensemble.
The donated instruments will be used by students
at Nablus The Culture music school.The school is due to
be launched in February .Teaching at the school will be international musicians from the Barenboim-Said foundation and the Kamandjati , as well as local musicians. |
