Ibrahim Touqan

He  is a  well-known  Palestinian  literary character,
a national  patriotic  poet, He was born  in nablus in 1905, he took his bachelor degree in literature from
the  American University of Beirut in 1934. In 1937,
he  married  Samia Abdel Hadi, and they had a son, Ja’afar . from  1936-41  served as  sub-director  in
charge of  the  Arabic  Programmer  Section  of  the Jerusalem Palestine Broadcasting Station, he played quite a role, in spreading classics of Arabic literature
on air. In 1941, Ibrahim died in the French Hospital
in Jerusalem. He was only 36.
